چکیده
Abstract Background Filling silos generally takes much time in practice, which may negatively affect silage fermentation and feed intake. To clarify the effects of inoculating time, lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains filling on microbes stylo ( Stylosanthes guianensis ) its silage, ensiling was quickly performed (quickly filling, QF) with or without LAB Lactobacillus plantarum SXC48, Lb. CCZZ1 Enterococcus faecalis XC124), after inoculated placed for 1 day (delayed DF1) 2 days (DF2). Results Delayed significantly increased pH, buffering capacity, microbial counts acid, acetic NH 3 –N contents prior to ensiling. Inoculating SXC48 improved quality QF indicated by more as well lower pH butyric content. affected content silages. For DF2 silages, at better than chopping, while had good quality, regardless time. The results 16S rRNA sequencing that delayed enhanced bacterial diversity materials changed composition microbes. Kosakonia , Pseudomonas Pantoea jointly dominated fresh material, Lelliottia material. relative abundance from 16.4% control 76.5% 82.0%, respectively. DF also silages . Conclusions Under present research conditions, reduced propionic however, undesirable bacteria, such Lelliottia. effectiveness varied strian both chopping obtained similar benefit. Graphical

OBJECTIVE The effects of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and cellulase enzyme on fermentation quality, microorganism population, chemical composition and in vitro gas production of sorghum silages were studied. METHODS Commercial inoculant Lactobacillus plantarum Chikuso 1 (CH), local selected strain Lactobacillus casei (L. casei) TH 14 and Acremonium cellulase (AC) were used as additives in sorgh...

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of molasses and lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the chemical composition, silage fermentation characteristics, and in vitro ruminal fermentation parameters of an ensiled potato-wheat straw mixture in a completely randomized design with 4 replicates. Wheat straw was harvested at full maturity and potato tuber when the leaves turned yellowish. The p...

It is difficult to make good quality of silage from alpine gramineous from the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. The effects of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of Siberian wildrye silage were studied in southeast of the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. Siberian wildrye materials were freshly cut at the sprouting stage, flowering stage, and milky stage. Silage was pre...

This study was carried out to determine the effects of actic acid bacterial inoculant on the fermentation and aerobic stability of sunflower silages. Sunflower was harvested at the milk stage. Inoculant-1174 (Pioneer®,USA) was used as homofermentative lactic acid bacterial inoculant. Inoculant was applied 6.00 log10 cfu/g silage levels. Silages with no additive served as controls. After treatme...
